The LIA was pleased to attend the Healthy Homes and Buildings APPG’s 10th Anniversary Parliamentary Reception on Monday 13 July, alongside myself and members of our Government and Public Affairs Committee, Neil McLean (Chair), Xander Cadisch and Roger Sexton.

On 7th May, members of The LIA team attended a UK Government webinar on the proposed UK Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), focusing on emissions reporting and verification requirements.

The LIA has submitted a consolidated UK response to the European Commission’s consultation on Digital Product Passports (DPPs), informed directly by feedback from across our membership.

The Government has now published the final eligibility rules for the British Industrial Competitiveness Scheme (BICS), which will reduce electricity policy related costs for certain energy intensive manufacturing sectors from April 2027.
