In Memoriam - Chris Watts

The Lighting Industry Association is saddened by the passing of Chris Watts, one of the most influential figures in the field of emergency lighting.

Chris dedicated more than half a century to advancing emergency lighting standards, safety, and made an extraordinary contributions to The LIA, and the wider lighting industry. To many, he was known as "Mr. Emergency Lighting".

He will be remembered not only for his technical knowledge and dedication to safety, but also for the generosity with which he shared his expertise and supported those around him. His contribution to our industry is immeasurable, and his legacy will continue to guide future generations of lighting professionals.
