As a recent graduate in design, I have been exploring various career paths for opportunities to apply my skills in a professional setting.The LIA’s ‘Love Light’ course provided a unique and insightful introduction into the lighting industry, revealing a variety of career paths that I had never previously considered.

I recently completed The LIAs Love Light course which provides a detailed introduction to the lighting industry, something that is fairly new to me, having just recently graduated from university in Product Design.

As a marketer in the lighting industry, enrolling in the Lighting Industry Association's Love Light training was fantastic for my professional growth. This course provides an in-depth understanding of the lighting sector, crucial for anyone looking to excel in this field. Here's what I found particularly beneficial:

Harrison Brown, a past finalist in The LIA’s University Project Brief, took his first steps into the lighting industry through Nottingham Trent University. His journey led him to attend The LIA’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Annual Lunch—an event that brings together key industry leaders, innovators, and future talent.

Sustainability is a passion and commitment I see throughout the lighting industry. It's wonderful to see everyone getting involved and doing their part but finding a starting point and what works for your company can be challenging.
