LIA Laboratory Ltd recognises the utmost importance of impartiality and potential conflicts of interests in promoting confidence when conducting its testing and product certification activities.
LIA Laboratory Ltd are fully committed to providing all existing and potential clients access to testing and product certification services conducted in an open, independent and impartial manner. All clients are treated on an equal footing and are expected to achieve the same level of conformance to the appropriate standards.
LIA Laboratory Ltd has an ongoing compliance program to ensure that the highest standards of independence and impartiality are applied to all its activities in accordance with best practice.
To achieve this LIA Laboratory Ltd conduct risk assessments annually, in relation to specific activities, contracts and organisations we interact with, in respect of potential risks to impartiality and conflict of interest. These risk assessments are reviewed by the impartiality committee, which is an independent committee which sits outside of the organisation and is made up of members representing key interests of our stakeholders.
To ensure all testing and product certification activities are conducted in an independent and impartial manner, Conflict
of Interest and objectivity is further covered through annual training sessions and contractually binding agreements.
