Thorn helps Wincanton keep its Transport, Storage and Logistics Solutions Sustainable

Wincanton implemented Thorn Lighting’s HiPak Pro LED high bay luminaires at The Railshed, part of the company’s Corby facility, to reduce energy consumption and increase sustainability whilst providing a well-lit working environment. The refurbishment of its Corby warehouse, involved reconfiguring and expanding the racking layout of The Railshed, a 2,294m2 area attached to the main warehouse, prompting a re-design and upgrade of the lighting.

Zumtobel No 1 for H1 Development

A variety of LED luminaires from Zumtobel have been used as part of a major refurbishment of H1, a 200,000 sq. ft. office facility formally known as Seafield House, in Aberdeen. 

The project has also incorporated emergency lighting and lighting controls from Zumtobel’s vast product portfolio. Owned by European Property Company, Kennedy Wilson Europe Real Estate (KWE), the area known as ‘Hill of Rubislaw’ is a key business hub in Aberdeen’s West End and is home to a number of blue chip companies.

Regent Seven Seas have taken those levels of luxury to new higher standards with their recently launched ship Explorer. South Tyneside Council Get Energy Streetwise with Thorn Lighting

Thorn Lighting has supplied over 5000 LED R2L2 lanterns as part of a retrofit project by South Tyneside Council (STC) that will replace street lighting on major infrastructures and residential highways in the area.  The project has already shown impressive payback figures, with energy saving calculations of over £200,000 per annum.
