This guide explains how lighting controls can be used to meet all of the requirements of the Building Regulations, Part L(2013), which came into forice in April 2014. The regulations require a significant increase in lighting efficiency, for which Lighting controls will play a key role. The guide is mainly concerned with compliance with Part L2 – i.e. with buildings other than dwellings. Part L1 deals with dwellings and its controls requirements are addressed at the end of the guide.
Full details of the requirements are available (for LIA members) here.
