One day training course on how to design and apply the requirements of Building Regulations Part L - Energy Conservation in Buildings 2014

A revised version of the Building Regulations, Part L (2013), comes into force on 6 April 2014. It requires a significant increase in lighting efficiency, and lighting controls will play a key role in achieving this.

This one day course provides an understanding of the Regulations and Approved Documents.  

Who Should Attend:
This course is designed to suit lighting designers, suppliers, installers and specifiers.
Certificates will be awarded to delegates and qualify for 6 hours of CPD (Continual Professional Development)

This course offers delegates:

  • A good understanding of both Approved Documents and current Lighting Technology including Controls
  • Detailed advice on the revised lighting requirements, and the move from efficient products to efficient use.
  • An insight into the use of relevant standards and codes; particularly EN12464 and EN15193
  • A framework approach to lighting design and implementation that will successfully deliver compliant schemes.
