Lighting Controls Guides and Other Support Materials
The Lighting Industry Association (LIA) Lighting Electronics Controls Application Committee (LECAC) have developed a range of tools to promote the use of lighting controls more widely, whether it is lighting controls applied to individual luminaries, specific areas of a building or to building wide systems.
The initial set of tools will comprise:
- A Lighting Control Mini-Guide
- Lighting Control Guide - (full version) - In various chapters.
- A one-day training course based on the full version of the guide. Information about this course can be found within the LIA training section.
If you would like to find out more detail on the design, specification, procurement and installation of a control system, as well as the practical issues and technologies available,

The LIA LECAC group will continue to develop further tools with regard to lighting controls to further promote the many benefits that the use of them can bring to users, including significant energy and CO2 reductions
